I have been coaching for 25 years and, of all the various work experiences I’ve had, I find coaching the most rewarding. For me it’s all about the clients. I love to see people reach for their dreams.

I consider it a privilege if I can play a part in helping clients make the changes that are needed to be more fulfilled at work and at home.

I’m a lifelong learner; growth and development for me is ongoing. Whether we realize it or not, as human beings we are always learning and growing in an atmosphere of continual change. I like to help my clients use change as a catalyst for growth, to learn to thrive on change and to use change to their advantage. I consider myself an entrepreneur and visionary at heart. As an entrepreneur I have started businesses from scratch.

My own path of learning started at Drake University where I earned a BSBA and an MBA. I worked in banking for nearly 16 years, culminating in the role of VP and Regional Manager. I left that position to start my own executive retained search firm. I then added executive and leadership coaching as additional services for my clients.

During this time I graduated from Coach University’s two year Coach Training Program. I became an adjunct consultant for Right Management, the global talent management organization. Around this same time I started a commercial real estate practice with a varied portfolio of investment property, warehouses, office and retail space.

Most recently, I served as Human Resources Director of a large non-profit with over 1,100 employees. I have extensive experience in senior management, leadership positions, and as a board member in the private for profit and not for profit sectors.

As an added dimension to my work experiences I’ve always had an interest in spirituality and the way that our spiritual lives play such a critical role in how we show up in the world. I have completed a three year program in Spiritual Direction and I am currently in the process of becoming certified in the use of the Enneagram. The Enneagram is a powerful system that is centuries old but more relevant than ever in understanding our relationship to ourselves and others.

I have always had an appreciation for beauty and art, in many forms. Away from work, I serve as a rose growing consultant through the American Rose Society. I also paint and create art as a hobby.

For the benefit of my coaching clients I bring all of my education, work experience, life experience and spiritual growth to each coaching relationship.
